Ideal candidate must be self-motivated with a proven track record in selling of technology services within the Salesforce ecosystem, or related to Cloud technologies, and comfortable in the dynamic atmosphere of a technical organization with a rapidly expanding customer base. Candidate must be organized and analytical, well spoken with excellent presentation skills, adept at working independently and in a team environment, able to develop a strong sales cadence, and able to handle multiple priorities. Additional preferred qualifications are:
- B.A. degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Computer Science or equivalent preferred
- User or administrative experience with Salesforce
- Proven success in achieving or exceeding sales quota in technology product or service industry
- Strong presentation and communication skills
- Willingness to travel to locations in assigned region
- Ability to quickly adapt to and understand the business model and common challenges of a variety of customer industries and company size
- Ability to demonstrate knowledge of past company successes in order to secure customer buy-in
- Proven solution and service selling to large enterprise accounts is a plus
- Experience navigating companies of varying sizes to reach decision makers, including C-level
- Awareness of some of the following technologies: the Salesforce Platform and Cloud products, APEX, VisualForce, Flows, Integration/EAI technologies (e.g. Mulesoft, Dell Boomi, Jitterbit), C++Java/J2EE, including SOAP, RESTful, .NET and related technologies (JSON, XML, etc.), Common Database technologies (Oracle, MySQL, JDBC, SQL, PL/SQL, stored procedures)
- Experience with managing multiple client relationships at once
- 5+ years of relevant experience in technology sales (preferably technology service sales)
